Civil
& Building Engineer |
-
Critique, comment constructively on detailed designs for building plans,
construction type, foundation design, specifications, earthworks and civil
construction works. -
Apply geo-technical design parameters for the determination of earthworks and
foundations for different soil-and environmental conditions -To
contribute to project execution plans and contracting strategies. -To
monitor progress against targets for the project. |

Coordinate multiple construction sites. -
Schedule -
Pursue `fit-for-purpose` in the design, whilst maintaining technical
integrity and optimizing operability and maintainability. -
Manage technical queries from contractors and control / record the
implementation of the site changes, within budget. -
Ensure adherence to company’s HSE and technical policies and
specifications, without affecting the contractor schedule. |
-First degree (Civil Engineering) A
minimum of 8 – 10 years experience in both design
and construction, roads, foundation, reinforced concrete construction etc. -Knowledge
of group, Nigerian and International Civil Engineering Standards -Familiarity
with operational -requirements is considered as an advantage. -Ability
to effectively function in a multi-discipline, multi-ethnic environment. |

Project
Engineer |
-To
participate as facilities/project Engineer in the detailed design, construct
and commission phases of the project. -To
provide/coordinate responses to contractors technical queries during the
execution -To
monitor and coordinate approval of all specification/design change controls. |
-Manage technical queries from contractors and control / record the implementation of the site changes, within budget. -Ensure
adherence to company’s HSE and technical policies and specifications, without
affecting the contractor schedule. |
-A
minimum of 8-10 years experience in mechanical engineering -Good
interpersonal skills, with sound knowledge of materials and equipment. -Proficient
in English language, both in speech and in writing. |
